72 - expansion tank hose Question

Hi all,
I’m replacing the radiator to expansion tank hose on my o72 BB coupe.
I purchased the one on the left as a reproduction and I’m wondering if the one on the right, which I removed could be original. The interesting thing is that one is 4203 the other is 4230. Car was built Feb 72 so the date code may be right.

I believe the 4203 and 4230 are codes for the type of rubber used in the product.
