63 Grille Mount Clips vs Square Nuts

Do any of the '63 experts here know roughly when the front grille mount to body changed from fasteners/clips to the clip with the square nut attached? I've seen the vendors sell both types. Or did all '63s use the square nut grille mount?

The grill screws changed early to mid Oct. 1962. I hope this helps.
