        Sorry, Vinnie,

Post 13 does not explain what "Open Class" is...
Guess I'll just have to wait for the corvette equivalent of a vernissage
        thx,
        Mark

Hi Mark, Roy and I are still working out the fine details but here is where we are at today. The new NCRS Open Class will be for all years 53 thru current. The class will allow for any car that does not currently fit into our Flight, Mark of Excellence or Star judging. As the name may infer, anything goes in the Open class. Customs, Slightly modified, Color changes, or just street driven cars are all welcome to participate.

We will identify the groups right after the National ends. I suspect we will have Stock, Modified and RetroRod or VetteRod groups. From that we will develop a Mark of Excellence program for each of these groups. As you might think, this is a monumental task to develop judging criteria, sheets, and verbiage to enter into the Judges Reference Manual.

I hope everyone will be patient as we roll this out over the next year.

          Thanks,

Thanks Joe, but WOW, what a great idea and what a monumental challenge and huge amount of work. Best of luck and thank you.

              Thanks, Joe,

Understood on all of that...and thanks for the explanation.

FWIW - I have numerous versions of C2 scoring sheets, including CDCIF versions in Excel...I'm sure others have done that, too.
I can offer my assistance (if it's needed) in writing (or tech editing) text; scoring sheets; JRM text; whatever...

As Manual Coordinator for the 67 TIMJG over the past 10 years, I've had plenty of practice at that

              thx,
              Mark

Mark, Since Roy Sinor is the team leader, I will leave that decision to him. I know he is currently working hard on building the C7 and C8 score sheets for judging. I will mention you volunteering your assistance.

                Thanks,

All - I've registered for the Region as a 58-60 flight judge and found that the block of rooms is currently sold out. I booked a double queen room at a higher rate and if anyone wants to share it with me, please get in touch. If there are no 58-60 cars to judge or if I am not selected for judging then I'll likely cancel both my registration and the room or let someone else use it. Keith MacRae (505) 250-5779
