63 Expansion tank decal location

Does anyone have details on the correct location of the inspection # decals (3 & 7) on the expansion tank and radiator on a late November/early December 63?

I’m not convinced there ever was a “correct” location on the expansion tank. These photos show some of the variability. No doubt they were applied by different workers during any given year and the stickers wound up wherever it was quickest to put them.

PS: I would add that centered and straight was not a requirement nor a goal.

I've seen them everywhere on the tank, front, top, back and sides. Anywhere is good, just leave it visible for judging.

I received several great responses as to where the decal is located on the expansion tank, but none regarding the location of the other one that goes on the radiator.

Does anyone know where this one should be located?

Not the clearest picture, but you can see where the radiator decal is placed. Also, included a picture of the surge tank. Now, these are on my '67 but placement didn't change over the C2 run.
