    1967 Horn Relay Connections - no A/C

I'm trying to figure out the proper horn relay wiring to assist someone with making corrected wiring diagrams for 1967. I know there are errors from GM with the ground going to the wrong locations, but my question has to do with the 20ga orange/B&W wire that runs to the ammeter in the diagrams.

My car, (early-May, L-36, non-A/C) doesn't appear to have this wire as a separate connection at the horn relay. It's the original harness and relay and the ammeter works fine.

So I explored a little more and found what I think is the black/white ammeter wire back by the voltage regulator. It's just a fusible loop from and back into the harness. Where the red side is coming from is now the question. (The smaller loop goes to the v.reg connector.)
