For those interested, there will be a Women of the NCRS Forum at the National Convention. The Forum will be on Monday, September 8th at 3:30 p.m. Mike Ingham secured the Redwood Room for this forum, which is just across the hall from the show hall. There will be three panelists helping lead the discussion. They are: Sherri Demmel (Texas Chapter), the Honorable Elizabeth Feffer (ret.)(Intermountain Chapter), and Sarah Lardy (North Central Chapter)...all NCRS members. Joe Scafidi will also be present to discuss and encourage more women to participate in NCRS judging. Any women who are interested in attending are welcome. We have many women in the NCRS who provide important contributions to the NCRS both on and off the judging field. The panelists will discuss their individual histories with the NCRS and how they would like to encourage other women to become more involved in the NCRS. The NCRS provides equality in opportunity. This is the first forum of its kind in the NCRS. I was happy to see that the National Corvette Museum has also scheduled a similar forum, too. Any women who wish to attend this forum are encouraged to attend. Remember, we are all in this together. Tony
