best vent window regulator rebuild kits

looking for the best vent window regulator rebuild kit for 66 roadster , at one time they where left and right but now seem to be one kit works for either side . I did find that America's finest does list aright and left any info would be great

As you say, most of the Corvette suppliers seem to offer only a repair kit that works for both sides, However, in an older Paragon catalog, they do list individual numbers for left and right, referenced as 13315K (L ) and 13316K ( R ). Not sure if these might still be available through Corvette Central. America's Finest may turn out to be the only source for the L & R repair kits.

I suggest that before you order rebuild kits, take the regulators apart and determine what the problem is. Typically the 60 year old grease has turned to concrete. Both my '67s regulators were very hard to operate, took them both apart, gears looked OK, cleaned and regreased them and they now work perfectly.

Bob, if your car is to be judged, you need to be careful about rebuilt units or rebuild kits. The original vent windows have a “stop” feature and some rebuilt units no longer have that feature. Restoring your original units should be the first choice.

that was why I asked because the kits being sold fit either side and have no stop built in so they keep turning
