1963 Dark Blue Dash Paint from Corvette America

Hi,

I'm restoring a 63 with dark blue interior. The dash pads were junk, so I replaced them with Al Knoch dash panels and I resprayed the dash itself with Corvette America dash paint.

When the pads arrived and I started to install them, the dash itself was very flat in gloss as compared to the new dash panels. I have attached two pictures for everyone's review. One is the newly sprayed dash with the new dash panel and the second is the dash in another 63 that I own.
There is quite a difference in the two dash's.

Can anyone suggest what I can apply to the new dash so it has a similar gloss as in my other 63 and better matches the new dash panels?

You might try contacting this company, Vinyl Industrial Paints, Inc. They are still in business the last time I checked. I used this plastic primer and paint on the center dash on my '64 convertible and it matched great.

Well, UPDATE. I clear coated (satin) the dash and it came out great.
