    Tightening a knock off

What have you guys been using to tighten your KO wheels? Original or Re-production. I started using a 8# dead blow hammer 10 years ago rather than the lead hammer.

Back in the dark ages, when I was Editor, there was an article in The Restorer on this subject. Sometime between 1995 and 2002. There is a hammer with replaceable face that is very heavy that the author used, but changing computers has lost all details to me.

A searchable online article repository would help with that.

Per the Restorer searchable USB drive put together by Tom Sutcliffe, it's Volume 28 - Number One - Summer 2001 pages 44 & 45.
That Restorer searchable USB drive is available in the NCRS store...

                      Keith

USB contains Volume 1 thru Volume 51 #3. Very nice search. Contains ALL PAGES of Restorer.

So... Volume 51 #4 Spring 2025 is not included.

FWIW: just download those later Restorers as pdf.
