    A6 Compressor Rebuilders

I'm needing to have my A6 compressor rebuilt looking for any recommendations. I believe Domenic Tallarita is not in business any longer is that true ?

Rock Auto sells remanufactured AC Compressors from Four Seasons. I have not tried them but a quick search shows there website as 4s.com.

I suggest contacting them to determine if they will rebuild your unit.

Vintage Air and Old Air Products, each have websites, and rebuild originals.
          Good Luck Michael!

Domenic is back up and running but his backlog is crazy. He's had my comp since Jan of 24 and he is just now working on it.
I found another comp since I wasn't sure he would finish mine or if I would even get it back. I sent this one to Old Air Products in
Ft Worth. Ask for Joe. 817-531-2665. They have a local person that rebuilds comp's. I think I paid $265 plus shipping both ways.
Turnaround time was about 6 weeks.

I haven't used it yet. Still putting the car back together after a body off. I bought a new clutch and sent it to Old Air to install with the unit. They didn't paint the case. I asked them too but it didn't happen so I painted it. I have the label and ink stamp. Can't tell about comp performance. Since Domenic is doing my original now, I'll probably sell the rebuilt comp. The Old Air rebuild had a dated case a couple of months earlier than mine so I want to use my original.

I will have to check but I think it's in Sept of 66 so it would work for cars within 6 months after that. My build date was 12-28-66 so it worked for me. My orig comp is dated Oct 66.
