93 base coupe emblem question.

Well this new to me, I brought a low mileage 93 that some one was selling cheap. I had it since February and have been getting it running, and cleaned up, sat outside for 3 years , with mice nest in interior, now all done but have question on the 40th emblem on hood, did all 93’s have them or was this a add on? And if so how do the judge this? Is this a case of full paint deduct if I decide to have judged? Thanks for your help on this.

According to GM, the 40th Anniversary hood side emblems, GM #10172390, were installed only on the 40th Anniversary Editions (RPO Z25).

The hood center emblems was also different on 40th Anniversary Editions. The most prominent difference was that the circular border ring of the emblem was chromed whereas non 40th cars had a black circular border ring.
