Judging Concours at Chapter meets

We, our Ontario Chapter, recently had our chapter meet. One of my assignments was to judge "Chassis" on 2 Concours cars.
My question is: should this judging assignment qualify for points??

Murray, I believe the answer is yes and no. In your case you are a 400 level judge, so no. Saying that I would expect to see the line item in your profile that you judged, but with zero points attained. Same as you would see under Flight Judging.

If the Judge had under 400 points I would expect the profile to show the line item under Concours with the appropriate number of points.

You also mentioned it was a recent chapter meet. As I recall the Judging Chairman has 3 weeks to enter the data in the system, then the NJC must approve the points.

Also, as you know. Concours points do not count towards 5-Star. Only Regional and National Flight points.

In past judging, you have received points for Concours - so yes, nothing has changed, Concours judging earns points.

Past 400 points, as you now have achieved, earns NO judging points - EXCEPT those earned at Regional/National towards your 500 Level Master Judge.

The reason I was asking the question is for the benefit of my partner working with me on Chassis on Concours cars, he is not a Level 400 judge.
i KNOW that that I already have achieved a Level 400 judge, my question was related to how judging points are assigned to Concours judges at Chapter meets.
Perhaps our ne Judging Chairman - Joe Scafedi - could chime in with a clarificATION.

As a chapter judging chairman, and someone who has judged concours at chapter meets, the answer to your first question is yes, this judging assignment qualifies for points. As chapter judging chair, I put those points into the system to be awarded. If you are saying the points have not been awarded to your partner, I would suggest you or your partner ask the Ontario Chapter Judging Chairman what went wrong.

Concours Judging earns the same amount of points Flight Judging does for Chapter, Regional and Convention judging.

Sorry for the delay Murray, I just read this today. I don't know who your partner was, but if he is under a 400 level judge he should have received points for judging Concours. Now, to clarify, I have no control over Chapter level judging points. It is up to the Chapter Judging Chairperson to enter and offer judging points. I only have control to approve them.
