TIRE PRESSURE STICKER 1967 Glove Box

What is the diameter of the tire pressure sticker located on the inside of the glove box door on a '67?
    Thanks

    Steve,

2 1/4 inches on my late 67. Here is a photo:

When I did my Glovebox Article some time was going to replace it but taking one look at the repro I decided to keep the original:

I then masted it for painting the interior:

Thanks for the info. I'm going to try to make a good reproduction. The only drawback will be cutting the circle, however my wife has a cutter that might do the trick. Just need to play with alignment some.........
Some of the data I have show 2 different stickers with different part numbers and one without the "P" in the "bowtie" symbol.

Steve, I hope you are able to accomplish the reproduction. I need one and I'd guess there will be a big interest. Thanks

I think perhaps the biggest challenge with creating an accurate reproduction sticker will be the choice of paper. Were the original stickers stark white, like the repros I’ve seen? Or did the original stickers start out a yellowish white, perhaps with some visible fiber content? Getting people to agree on that question will not be a trivial task.

Thanks for the comments. Photos of "clean" originals would be appreciated to determine accuracy.........
The original stickers were not "stark white". ........

I find that to be a challenge.
Even worse is when a company discontinues a material that worked well, or changes it without changing the "part number."
Just because a material works today doesn't mean it will be available in the same composition tomorrow.

                Steve,

Funny thing about my sticker which is part number 3888750 without the P in the bowtie. The 67 Judging Guide says that label 3888750 was only used in very early cars and the 3910795 with the P in the bowtie is the correct sticker.

Yet my 67 (22049) is a very late June 67 car and has the very early sticker. Perhaps they ran out of the 795 sticker and put on the older 750 sticker.

When I did my C2 Glove Box Restoration Article , I could not bear to change the original with the crummy correct 795 sticker. So in painting the back I just masked it over in the picture.

I know the sticker in my 67 is original as I have had the 67 since December 68 ( traded my 67 Renault 10 to my roomate in the Navy for it). In 1969 the original bias tires were worn out and I was going to take a trip across country to California, so I put on Michelin X mud and snow radials. I then crossed out the 24 psi for the rear tires on sticker and filled in 26. You could probably see the 26 in the photo. HaHa

                      Steve,

you have a comma after the word "STANDARD"
I believe that should be a semicolon

                      thx,

Also, inter-letter and inter-word spacing can be a challenge. Compare the relationship between the letter T in LIMIT to the L in VEHICLE in the original and the reproduction.

That looks like a colon to me.

Thanks for the "observations". I can fix/adjust those items. background color is still a challenge..........

                              Terry,

The image I posted in #11 came from the '67 TIMJG as an example of an original label.

Steve's image in post #9 is his new one with the comma instead of the colon.

I should have clarified that when I showed him the TIMJG image...
                              thx,
