    63 fuel to fuel pump

I have changed several pumps over the years and usually clamped off the rubber fuel line to stop flow.

Thus time I had little fuel so I drained fuel in the line, changed the pump and rubber line. I put in 8 gallons and have no fuel to the pump? What did I do and how to restore flow? Thanks

Bob, same thing happened to my 63, turned out to be a plugged fuel tank strainer. I blew some air through the fuel pump connecting rubber hose and Niagra falls and a big mess before I could reattach the hose. NOT a recommended fix. Good luck!

Drove the 64 over 5000 miles to three Regionals and the San Jose National, one dust storm and 40 lbs of bugs!
