    1963 Seat belt assembly

I took my belt buckles of the repaint them. Does anyone know of an article of how to properly reassemble them? Don't know where the washer came from

Bob, 63 Seat belts are not painted. They should be polished aluminum.

Thanks. Do you have a photo? They are original but I guess someone had painted them silver. Looks like I have some polishing to do.

There should be photos in the 63-64 Judging manual.

well, now I have polished buckles that look very good. Now any description of how to reassemble? Where does the washer go?

Bob, The washer goes between the aluminum flap and the chrome base on the side of the pin that has the clip. Does this make sense? If not I can load a photo.
