C1 Steering part

There's a seat that goes between the spring(561126) and the upper bearing(561125), shown in the picture. The "seat" isn't shown or sourced as far as I know. Everybody who describes steering gear rebuild say's, " Don't lose this part". I had to get a replacement steering column but it came minus this spring seat. Can anyone help me find or make one? Frank

As you know that retainer is unavailable. You could make one from a old upper bearing.

Thanks a lot. I did a rebuild because I had no idea of the quality of the used column that I bought so I have the old upper bearing. Thanks for the tip and the comparison picture.
