1967 Small Block Hood (access holes)

Question. I'm searching for a correct hood for my '67, #106XX. Using the attached photo, can someone tell me if I should be searching for one similar? Paying close attention to the (Filled in) access holes for the '66 script. I'm finding some with holes, some filled (not drilled out?), some no holes or evidence of them......

    Regards,.

For 67, the configuration should be as shown in the picture. On the inner reinforcement, there should be the large access holes and on the outer panel, no drilled holes for the emblem. And no filled in holes either.

Mr Nowak, Great information! I’m not sure how well this photo illustrates but it appears to have a “knock out” or a thin layer of material covering the access holes? The hood currently on my car, first has the emblem, drilled thru holes and installed. These access holes are fully opened without this thin layer. Without knowing the full history on this car, I am finding some of its stories interesting. Real hood or not? Did someone simply add the emblem? Hmmm

Kevin- As a possibility, keep in mind that Chevy utilized 'service replacement' hoods, to cover multiple years. Herez some info I have regarding 1964 and 1966 hoods... and the 1966 info was printed well before the BB hood switched sides for the hood prop. I believe later BB service replacement hoods, had the ability to install that prop on either side.

Sorry, I didn't see the thin layer covering the access holes. I'm not sure if the emblem was added, or if it was a service replacement hood as Jack alluded to, but Typical Factory Production for 67 was the access holes in the inner panel, and the outer skin had no holes or filled over holes.
