    1956 Oil Dipstick Handle Finish

The judging manual refers to the finish of the dipstick handle as zinc or CAD plated, the blade is natural finish. There were several different designs. The one I have is the first version which is very rare and hard to find. I have a NOS one and the handle and blade which is all one piece is all natural finish. No sign of plating. My question is the later versions the ones with the plating as the handle is a separate piece riveted to the blade?

    Thanks
    Sheldon

I am guessing but I think the judging manual is wrong and your natural finish dipstick is the way they left st Louis. mike
