‘66 windshield washer pump replace/rebuild suggestions

    I
My windshield washers do not work. I can hear the motor clicking when I activate the switch. I’ve tried to prime the pump with fluid with no luck. This Vette sat in storage for decades before I acquired it so I assume it’s an issue with the pump’s rubber diaphragm but haven’t taken it apart to inspect the internal components. I’m looking for suggestions on rebuilding or replacing the pump. If I go down the “rebuilding path” which kits are the best?

Originality is paramount as my ‘66 Corvette is an unrestored car and I missed a “Top Flight” award by a cat whisker first time out so as long as I’m correcting the functionality of the pump, I want to make sure I keep the pump visually 100% correct per original factory appearance.

    any suggestions would be appreciated.

Wayne: Don't assume it is the pump. Let's check the "Low Hanging Fruit" first. My
66 Coupe did the same thing and it turned out to be the hoses that attached to the Nozzles.. Also check your
nozzles that might be blocked. Search this board as this has been discussed many
times. You will get more idea's. Larry

I fixed my inop '66 pump using the correct cheap rebuild kit from Zip. It includes a diaphragm but I didn't need it. My problem was just the gasket behind the white plastic hose connection plate on the pump. My car had been sitting about 10 years.
