They may have to increase the front end lift height option on this one......

I would be surprised if the windshield post would pass Fed 393.62, etc.

I don't know, looks like it could pass most everything. Any idea how fast a Fed 393 is anyway?

Most school bus exit doors have a split window too.

I spoke with a DOT rep early and he advised 393.NN included driver obstructions to vehicle windows. He advised sections such as .62 and others would likely be referred to for compliance of commercial and private vehicles licensed for road use. (Note the US even has guidance for windshield sticker/decal positions) I asked about the 2025 ZL-1 split rear window and was advised he could not discuss that or other topics under consideration. He advised some styling features may receive dispensation after review and approval. He did say no request for review of this windshield instance had been received for private vehicles. Note this design for an electric vehicle was created in the UK Design Studio and additional designs are to be submitted from two US studios.

                Faster than a Fed 383. :-)

I received a ticket once for having a sticker in my rear window. Cop wrote obstrution of view. Judge threw it out because the car had a passenger side window.

Way back when Pennsylvania had biannual inspection requirements (yep, every six months - what a racket that was) the only area of any piece of glass that could have any kind of obstruction - a sticker; decal; or anything else was the PA inspection sticker itself.

I was driving an 8-owner, '66 Mustang Fastback "bucket-a-bolts" at the time and had a wide, low-profile Penn State decal across the bottom of the rear window. it among other nit-picky stuff got me flunked at the "registered inspection station". We only have annual inspections now with some counties adding emissions testing stickers as well.
                      thx,
                      Mark
