Recover 1967 door panels

Does anyone have experience with recovering the vinyl on an original door panel? If the door panel is from your car and fits well, but needs recovering, this seems like a viable option if a vendor can do it. It may be cost prohibitive in the end.

Tim,
I know that Al Knock "recovers" original door panels. I have never had it done, personally, but have heard from others who have had excellent results. There reasons for doing so were the same as yours...fitment. Give your fellow Texan a shout.
