Grease or Oil - Convertible Deck Lid

Which is recommended on the moving parts on the bottom side of a convertible deck lid-grease or oil?

20 or 30W non detergent oil in a zoom spout. All hinges, wiper door pivots, door latches, vert lid and hood release etc.

I will frequently go around all of my cars/trucks once a season or more on the daily drivers.

WD40 on things that shouldn't get oil...lock tumblers, ignition switch, door jamb, switches etc.

You don't need much of either. Work the now lubricated component. Then decide if it needs another drop or two.
