Picture of the antenna hole for a 57 corvette.

I replaced the rear quarter. The panel shipped without the hole or the thimble piece that goes below the panel.
Any pictures of the thimble piece or the painted hole from the top side would be appreciated.
One of the last details, I need to address, before paint.
    Thanks
    Rick

    Hi Rick

Here is the location of the hole. This came from a TDB submittal. I do not have the source.

Thank you for the submission. It helps.
I am also looking for the fiberglass details. If I remember correctly, it just isn't a simple hole in the glass.

Yes, at least 4-1/4 is what the print says.

Still looking for the fiberglass details for this area. I am quite confident that the mounting area is not a simple hole.

Is the fiberglass piece available in the aftermarket (I don't recall any advertised.) or only from an existing car? Thanks! Steve

Are you still in need of the picture of the painted hole? I just installed a reproduction antenna in my recently acquired '57, which has an original left rear quarter, and the car was originally equipped with a radio. I will remove the antenna and take some pictures if you still need them.
