Recommended Tool: Tighten/Loosen Fuel Valve Inlet

Looking for a recommendation on a tool to tighten the fuel inlet valves (for a Holley 4150). Specifically want something that won’t leave teeth marks.

I bought one of these a while back and it has served me well. No affiliation with seller, just a happy customer.

      Keith,
A set of flare wrenches are what you're wanting for any fuel line or brake line fitting. You won't mark or deform the nut.

A crescent wrench does not have teeth, but you could also cover the jaws with duct tape if you want.

            Mike,
I was addressing the fuel line nut...not the carburetor filter nut. If that's the nut Keith is asking about, Gary's device would work nicely if the fuel line were not in place...if it were, that style wrench would not work. The best wrench for the carburetor filter nut is the MAC S141 1" slim line...designed specifically for this task.

Thanks to all for the responses. I purchased the MAC thin wrench and an adjustable that will fit on the filter nut while tightening the fuel line nut.
