    Cylinder heads

Looking for information on a trusted source who may have a pair of 2.02 ,64cc, 186 or 041 heads. Condition not the date is much more important. Will consider 1.94 also. Not much luck with Ebay. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

You could post a parts wanted ad in the classified section of this website and/or in the Driveline.
both are free and target NCRS like-minded folks if that's what you need.

    thx,

The 1.94 heads are going to be FAR MORE plentiful than the 2.02 and can be converted by a competent machine shop. Of course, there's a significant cost in doing that.

Heads processed for the larger valve size have more tendency to develop a crack between the seats, and it's questionable how much the larger valve set is worth in terms of top end power.

From my library of small block messaged head flow data, the best flowing actually have the smaller valve size set, but the owner when through three iterations of massaging/flow testing before he was satisfied with the numbers.

So I don't recommend increasing the standard valve size to the larger set. Of course, if the heads were originally processed for the larger valve size you can't go back.
