63 340hp, water pump part number usage, early/late?

I have a 63 vette, 340hp, build date 11/26/62, just removed a 3859326 water pump, in reading the current manual it calls for 3782609 for early cars(which I believe mine is) or 3859326 in later cars? Can someone confirm which pump I should have according to my build date?

I would opine that your engine would have had the 3782609. Some 1963's with L-76/L-84 also received the 3839175. If yours was not originally a 3782609, I would more expect the latter than the 3859326

Guys, The latest version of the 63-64 Judging guide (now available to order) lists ONLY the 3782609 for 63 cars.

I see the 7th edition listed as out of stock in the NCRS store. I’ve heard 8th edition is nearing completion if I’m not mistaken. I’d like to get a copy when it’s available.

I spoke with Joe Scafidi and David King today. Edition 7 is no longer available. Edition 8 is at the printers and David expects them during February. If you call the store, you can order Edition 8 and Dave will ship it when he has them.

Also, Dave King will be changing the Website to the cover of Edition 8 and mark it as out of stock till he has them. They are working to get them to you.
