I was watching Barrett/Jackson today and saw a 1953, NCRS Top Flt. car go across the block for 330K. Someone did well.

There was a real disconnect for some cars and prices, but was interesting to watch.

BTW watched on Youtube vs a tv channel. Only very short commercial breaks, but never long enough to miss a single car get hammered.

Only auctioneer and crowd noise so you miss out on car details from talking heads - what a shame!

Those talking heads are not very knowledgeable for the most part. I saw 2 1969 Camaro Z28s with the cross ram 2X4s go across on Saturday, and they never mentioned anything about the originality of the engine or rare manifold setup. I don't think they know that is important for collectors. Of course they only seem to want to focus on April Rose......

Like it or not Resto-Mods is the way old Corvettes are going. The purist can't be happen But it is no different then chopping up a 32 Ford to make a street rod out of it!
