    Accelerator pump issue solved

I had an accelerator pump issue with my 69 L71. I was getting zero squirt, and thought it was clogged. I had no leak so thought the nozzle was clogged. It wasn't. The pump diaphragm was not leaking so thought it was likely ok. Took the carb off and the strap holding the check ball was sitting in the bottom of the diaphragm. I used Green lock tite to secure the strap. Re-assembled solid charge now. Simple repair just thought I would share.

Thanks for the info, Lawrence. There is always some problem that never is expected.
