    fuel pump date code question

    For an AC 40658 pump what would the date code of 228B translate to? Doesn't look like a date code fit for my late 69 350/350?

          B would likely be in the early 80s, assuming they started the alphabet over.
          Based on service replacement pumps I have, I believe they did.
