'73 Smog Pump Lower Bracket

I have two lower brackets available for my A.I.R. system restoration. They both have the correct part number and both have "GM" castings. On the orange one the part number is on the edge of the long leg, and on the gray one the part number is on the flat area as shown. Is only one of these correct for a 73?

I’ll go out on a limb here and say either one would be fine for your ‘73. The one I have on my ‘73 is the same as your silver example. The same bracket was used pretty much from around 1966 on. Both examples are fairly common, although your orange example seems more prevalent on earlier pumps that I see for sale. I never really paid that much attention to the difference before now, just looked for GM and the part number.
