65 Distributor Shield Front Ground Clip

My 6thEd TIMJG mentions 65E and 65L front ground clip versions on the distributor shield. What is the correct one for a mid-65 car (i.e., late January/ early Feb 65)? Thx

What type are the top rivets on your ignition shield, metal or plastic? If it is the early style shield with the metal rivets I would go with the "T" shaped clip which is a carry-over from 1964. If it is the later version with the plastic rivets, I would use the "fish hook" style clip. Here is what the Seventh Edition of the '65 TIMJG describes it.
