61 Front Bumpers installed

Is there a best way to install the bumpers, center bar, brackets, etc. on a '61. Should I install the brackets first, then try to attach bumpers? It seems tricky to do with installation of the center bar, shims & spacers. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Jim

I would install everything loosely bolted onto the car, then adjust the parts for good fit, one at a time, and tighten. This way you have "control" of the parts to minimize scratches etc.
