Wiring question 1965 factory air 327/350

IMG_3963.jpgIMG_3962.jpgIMG_3962.jpgIMG_3962.jpgI'm wading through wiring issues , upside down after removing radio to facilitate clock repair. Clock works fine- but I notice now that high beams work, low beams do not.
After sifting through wiring diagrams in shop manual-well I'm trying to indentify the plug and harness seen in the photos. I'm not seeing any obvious male side.
The wires are black/orange , black/yellow, black /white, black/orange

That looks like the fan switch connector. It should plug into the switch above the radio, below the clock on the driver side.

John, If you had a heater only car, that would plug into the back side of the heater switch. When the 1963-67 A/C option is added, an additional wiring harness for the A/C system is added to the car. That connector along with the other end of that set of wires is not used and is just left tucked away.

In the picture I attached you can just see the wiring connection you are referring to. As Joe stated, it is was taped into the wiring loom on A/C equipped cars. This is my '65, 327/350 equipped with A/C.
