68 Fan Shroud - Need AIM page

I'm repairing a fan shroud for a friend. It was in a 66 big block, but from all the researching we have done it appears to be a 68 big block shroud.

Per the 66 and 67 AIMs, the three part of the shroud for 66 and 67 were the same with the exception of the Right (passenger) side.
I have seen a couple of eBay listings that claim to be 68 one year only listing the same part numbers as the 67 AIM (top 3888269, left 3886887, and right 3911110).

I have seen reference to an early and late 67 shroud. If this is true, I assume the Early would be the same as 66.

I would appreciate it if someone with a 68 AIM could post a picture of the shroud. It should be in the L36 section of the AIM and somewhere around page A3.

    Thanks very much,
    Don

The 68 shroud parts are definitely different than 66 and 67.

Early 68's suffered from severe cooling issues. Early L36 fan shrouds were metal, with a single rib. AIM L36, Sht A12, with no changes records indicate that. See Below.
Sheet L36 Sheet A11, shows a metal fan shroud with 2-ribs.
Sheet L36, Page A11 was revised 12-1-67 which shows a plastic fan shroud with a hole in the upper left corner.
Sheet L36, Sheet A11 dated 1-3-68 shows the hole removed.
The following 5-scans illustrate what I think was the progress of fan shrouds. My April 1 build L72 uses the final version.

            Thanks Gary,

Very informative. What we have is definitely a 68 and we removed it from a 66!!
