Being car guys, "These" would pop into the conversation from time to time. He'd always remark "I've never driven one". He and Linda are visiting California for a few days, and today he got to drive one. We had a great time.

No doubt the Germans know how to build things.
That's one big reason behind the choice for my "civilian" car.
Even so, you can still see where my main loyalty lies...

I started my car hobby with Porsche. I've owned 4 air-cooled 911s, a 997 and a 928. Unbelievable cars, but I finally got bored after 20 years of them and moved on.
