Dear Region VII NCRS members,
Since January, I have had the honor to serve the interests of Region VII (Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas) as the Region VII Director. To that end, I created a monthly Constant Contact newsletter which I write and email to Region VII members giving updates and transparency to those NCRS members and chapters in my region. I have asked each of the Region VII chapters to provide me an updated membership list with confirmed emails so that I can add each chapter member to my monthly Constant Contact newsletter. However, I've learned that approximately half of the Region VII members do not belong to a chapter. I send out my newsletter to approximately 1,100 members (many non-Region VII members have asked to receive my newsletter as well), and the open rate for my newsletters is averaging 74%. The good news is: that is twice the national average per Constant Contact. The bad news: I'm not reaching 26% of Region VII members.
If you are a member living in Region VII and haven't been receiving my newsletter, please send me a DM with your name and preferred email address, and I will be happy to add you to my list of recipients. I do not and will not speak for the whole Society. That is senior management's job. However, I believe in communication, and I want all Region VII members to get my monthly newsletter. It is filled with updates on Region VII activities, including regional and national events.
I hope to see many of you at the Frisco Regional next month. The Texas chapter does a great job of hosting that annual event.
Best regards,
Tony Stein
