65 fuel pump replacemnt

The fuel pump on my 65 has died. i believe it was a service replacemnet. It has the silver tag with the number 40083 AC on it. i have had no luck trying to find a replacement, i have been told it is no longer available.
The ports are 180 degrees from each other, if yoo are standing at the fender, facing the car and looking down on the pump, the front port is at 2:00 approximately, and the rear port is at 8:00.
Does anyone know of a replacement with this unique configuration. The car is a driver so strict originality is not and issue.

Brian, thanks for the response.
"Died" as in not being able to keep up, it pumps for 15 minutes or so and then just peters out and the car stops running.
Steve i may have to go the rebuild route if there are, in fact, no replacements for it.

what does the top of the pump look like? any rate just rebuild it
