    Wheel weights

Are these OEM weights for any year Corvette? I know that they are not correct for the 63 to 67s.20240920_175130.jpg20240920_175149.jpg

Gary, no specific information however I have had it drilled in my head for many years by judges that they expect to see micro wheel weights for standard wheels and AL weights on aluminum wheel cars. If this is in error, please let me know as I am always happy to learn something new.

Gary, I'm glad that I saved these. They may come in handy some day.

Kevin, great picture. I think you're covered as far as wheel weights are concerned.

                          Re: Wheel weights

Were the weights ever snipped (lightened) from the factory? It was not uncommon to lighten a weight a bit, and if you ever noticed the tool used at the time had a weight cutter built into it. If you had only a 1.0 and 1.5, but really needed 1.25, you would cut off a chunk of the 1.5 to make for a more precise balance.

                              Kurt,

In the photos I have seen of original spare tires with likely original wheel weights for C2s and C3s I have never seen a cut weight.
