Proper air cleaner base for aftermarket Holley

I'm seeing bases with disclaimers in ads that they will not work with aftermarket Holley's due to the rear accelerator pump.

What will work for a 6210?

Good to know. Your profile shows you have a '70 LS5. Did this base fit over a spread bore Holley and provide hood clearance on a 454 with stock intake?

        Mark,
I'm using a torker 2 intake which is approximately 1 3/4" taller than the stock intake.

And the Holley is about 1/2" taller than a Q-Jet. So you're using a taller hood?

            Mark,
My build is incomplete but yes I'm planning to use a taller hood.

I also need an adapter for the square bore intake which will raise the carb by another 1/2"

I'm not an expert, but know adapters cost power and space. You might be better off using a spreadbore intake or a square flange carburetor with the torker.
