Expect ".tst," was just a test - as both were powered by vBulletin.

Re: New Forum
Akan,
If you look at the Board of Directors meeting minutes in the back of your latest Corvette Restorer you’ll see that John Waggoner reported that the current DB software is obsolete, and the current server is obsolete.

Re: New Forum
In doing that, the new forum popped up.
FYI, I used Google images MANY times per day to explain anatomy to patients. I love it.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

Re: New Forum
I logged into this new format, but I found it incomprehensible. I expected “latest topics” to be chronological like like the pages of the current forum, but it was a seemingly random listing of past threads. What am I missing? Does it have a section of daily responses somewhere like we have here?

- Patrick Hulst,
Yes it's a work in progress. What you see is the way it's going to look when completed.
Current TDB uses vBulletin 4, which is depreciated aka manufacture discontinued and unsupported. Upgrade is mandatory to keep the server healthy and working.

Re: New Forum
Changing the back-end software and database is not an easy process. We only see the forward facing stuff, but a lot goes into the backend to make it work. Patience is the key here and I'm certain it will end up being at least as good, and more likely better, in many ways.67 427/400 Lynndale Blue Corvette https://online.flippingbook.com/view/750924569- Top
