First Tme '63 Door Panel Install
Okay, I know - I'm guilty of owning my first car for over 50 years and never have installed/removed the door panels (the panels were already removed by the shop and I am trying to install). The picture of the bare door faintly shows the job number 118.
Some differences regarding the window handle/crank bushings repro vs original;
- there is a hole on the outer portion of the original bushing
- the original is slightly larger in diameter than the repro.
Does anyone know the purpose of the hole in the original? I thought it might be designed to catch a pin or? on the handle.
(Just for the record, using 3M strip calk as the sealer around the door is a pain).
