77/78 battery cable bolt size and thread?

What size and thread is the bolt inserted in the battery cables? I have 2 batteries offsite without cars that are at a different location that need charged and need to connect the charger to the batteries. The batteries do not have posts, only the bolt in the battery attaching points. Thanks! Steve
