    GM Styling Badge

Can anyone offer any information about this badge? I've never seen anything like it. It is reportedly attached to a 1963.

I've never seen that before, and I don't think its a "genuine GM part".

Back in the day where this emblem is located on your car I had a stick-on placard, black background with dull gold lettering that said:

CAUTION: Do not lower windows at speeds in excess of 120 MPH.

I bought it mail order out of the Road & Track classified section.

It was a good conversation piece and most believed it, especially women!

Quite interesting to see... anything else different/unique about this particular 1963 Corvette?
Does it have a low VIN... can you at least give us a partial VIN, Trim Tag date, or approx date of production?

I'm sorry I can't supply more information. I came across this picture on Facebook. Whoever posted it was hoping to learn something about it.

To learn more about it they need to help.

As far as the not GM above.

Who in the aftermarket would go to the expense to make a mold to make this bexel, molds to print, mold to inject plastic, and then to adhere it, studs and attach under radio?

          All for one part?

For a few cars that would be running between Detroit HQ, Tech Ctr, and Milford?

I know personally the family owned companies that made many of the Corvette embles, gas door as an example. Not happening for one car...

Perhaps contact GM Heritage, if not done so already.
