    Robert,
I don't believe the crimping on the ends of the brake hoses or power steering hoses are judged as a deduct anymore...based upon, virtual, non-existence of original hoses.
I would buy a Gates or Goodyear hose(s) for my car...I think they'll judge just fine. Oh, remove any lettering on the hoses with some lacquer thinner.

I'd go to Rock Auto and buy AC Delco Gold/Professional hoses. Fronts are 18J2028 at $8.50 each and the rears are 18J91 and are $12.50 each.
Like others have said, take some lacquer thinner and wipe off the writing. When I got mine, the plating was the same as the originals and looked damn close to the originals, less the double crimp. I'm not sure of the recent ones. I try to buy Delco replacements if they are available on parts and try to keep it GM as much as possible. That's my opinion, take it with a grain of salt.

Since ACDelco parts are usually just parts that ACD buys from the lowest bidder, I only use them if I know they're selling a real part. Usually that's only parts for my vehicles made in the last 10 years that I find using the original GM part number.

Goodyear makes some excellent hoses. I know that CSSB in FL sells them. You can probably find them elsewhere too.

In-Line Tube is a good source for brake lines and hoses. I did buy a rear pair from Doc Rebuild that came Made in USA stickers on them. The one on top is from Doc rebuild, the one in the center is from Classic Tube, and the one on the bottom is the original.

thank you for all the info , my reason for asking is all listings say 63-82 hoses but in fine print some listing say substitute for 63-66 correct for 67 and up . I am guessing its all in the single versus the double crimp or is other parts of the hose that are different .

Chassis judges will know that the lack of a single crimp has not been deducted for a long time. Not primarily because of a lack of availability, but because it is a safety item.

Virtually all of the aftermarket brake hoses on the market today, regardless of brand and including ACDelco, are manufactured by Sunsong in China. Sunsong will usually be found printed on the hose. Of course, this can be removed. What can't be changed, however, is the fact that these hoses are of somewhat smaller diameter than the originals and this is easily discerned.

I think your best bet is reproduction hoses available from Dr. Rebuild or CSSB. As far as I know, these are of the original hose diameter and the hose is manufactured by Goodyear. As others have mentioned, you won't find any replacement hoses with single crimped end fittings as original. These are illegal to manufacture.

The only way to obtain hoses identical to the originals is to obtain NOS under the original 65-72 part numbers. However, I absolutely do not recommend the use of such hoses even if you could find them.

I edited my above post to show the hoses that I got from Doc Rebuild and Classic Tube.
