Question On Taking Semi-Prfessional Photo's Of Your C2 Converttible

Have a chance before Winter Storage to have some "Semi-Professional" Pictures taken of
my L72 C2 Corvette Convertible. Photo's will be with the Top Down. My objective is to have
the photo's as close as possible to the ones GM Photographic Division did back then. My Question>
In what position should the Sun Visor's be in? I have seen them above the "Birdcage" or below
the Windshield Tinted Portion and also in the Flat(Parallel To Ground) position as shown in the
6th Edition Front Cover of the Judging manual for the 66 Corvette. The question could also apply
to the C1's and C3's. Comments and Thanks>Larry

I'm not sure which images you are planning to recreate... studio type, or advertisement?
For these 1966 convertible images, it appears they were attempting to make the sun visors 'invisible'.

After looking at other pictures I will lay the Visor's down flat(Parallel To Ground) as shown in Jack's pictures. Also
if you notice in Jack's pictures it is a "Non-Radio" car;wonder if that was part of the plan for
          picture taking. Larry>Thanks to all

It seemz many promo styling photos avoided the antenna... and I've seen some missing the side view mirror.
Those styling images were also taken before the backup lights were made standard (a late 66 addition).

One of my favorite 1966 convertible promo images (had to get it in, Mark - LOL):

I like to turn the wheels so that the spinners are in the same position front and rear with one ear point straight up. It's just one of those details that cleans up a photo. Also use a fill in flash set low to brighten up the lower area of the car like the three photos in post 3. Notice that the photographer didn't do that in post 6.
