Reproductions sold today are like the replacements and should not be confused with originals. The supplier of replacements has no dates on delivery at this time.

        • I take it that the wheels from the odometer to the trip odometer are not interchangeable ? It is hard to tell the sizes from Tim's picture .
Also what about the wheels from the 68 to 74 trip odometer?

          Jim,

Measuring from the Corvette Specialties image, the wheel diameters for the Speedo odo and the trip odo look the same.

            Hi Gary,

Well there you go ! Problem solved. If that is true , the Speedo odo is still available on several sites !

Yes, the odometer and trip-odometer appear to be the same size. Looking at them, I see no way to get them apart. That was one of my thoughts was to take apart my old trip-odometer, buy another odometer (take it apart) and make a new trip. If someone has insight on how the two come apart without destroying that shaft - it would be appreciated.

Looks like the 10th wheel is physically different on each. I held each in my hand and just decided to look for NOS or repro.

The wheels are not interchangeable between total and trip odometers. There is a provision for the reset on the sides of the trip odometer wheels.

                    Brian,

Are the trip odometer wheels going to return to production as repros?

Factory does not want to run the trip wheels again.

Looking a a bunch of these it looks like originals were taped?

I also see that CC was purchasing the ACDelvo branded box…
Who is or was making these?

Factory did not use tape. There are always NOS trip odometers on eBay. They may have a different configuration for the drive gear, but the wheels would work on Corvette application.
