C4 Corvette Wheel Well Seal End Caps
Although those pesky little wheel well weatherstripping end caps are not a line item by themselves on flight judging sheet. The judge may make a minor deduction on the "wheel wheel seal" line item as it is part of the seal. These end caps love to fall out as they are exposed in the wheel well even when the hood is closed. These caps help the weatherstripping keep its shape and prevents the seal from tearing at the ends when the hood opens and closes.These caps were not glued in very well from the factory, I highly recommend checking them for their secureness within the weatherstrip, gluing them back in if loose. I have had better success using super glue over weatherstripping adhesive.
