    Mystery Armature

Anyone know what this is from. I've ruled out Power Window armature and headlight motor armature.

Might not even be a C2 part.

    Thanks.

Looks like a Windshield Wiper Armature to me. Have a few of those if you need another picture!

Owning both a C2 and a C3, the only places I've ever encountered such an armature is in the C2 headlight motor and the C2/C3 wiper or power window motors.

Owen, I've taken enough headlight motors apart to know that is not one. Is's not a P/W motor armature also. Do you have a picture of a wiper motor armature.

            P/W Armature.

I don't have any pics of my own... but the GMparts wiki number shows 4960317 as the '68-81 wiper armature. Found one on eBay that looks like this; the brush contacts are on the wrong end from what you show above.

I don't see the armature available separately for earlier years.

Owen, I agree. The one I'm trying to identify has the brush end on the other end.

Hopefully someone has a 63 - 67, wiper motor armature.

It might not even be a car armature.

JR, thanks. That's it. I had not taken one of those apart in the past.
