Have a 64 on which a new front clip was installed (old one is long gone). Trying to understand the orientation and placement of the bonded clip closest to the Connector Fuse Panel for holding the Headlamp Wiring Harness. Help and/or a picture would be appreciated.

Ron
My 64 AIM page 206 is Instrument Panel Wiring Harness.. No 99990 clip there.. My page 203 shows the Headlamp Wiring Harness, and clip 99990 in the inner fender well, roughly over the WWasher fluid bottle.. Is that the clip you want to see?

Thanks Don. Hmmm - that's strange about the AIM. My book is by Sequential Automotive Data, copyright 1993. However, the sheet is Sec. 12 and I think A11.00. Yes, that is the clip in your picture - it is suppose to be 10" back from the plastic retainer. The AIM says it was bonded, but your picture doesn't look like it?? Is the flat part of the clip bent into a 90 degree, and the end of the flat, bent piece bonded?- Top

Yes, Section 12 A11.00. Though the A11.00 is smeared.. Yes, my clips on both sides are bonded. You can see the black bonding adhesive.. And the flat of the clip is stuck to the fiberglass with the loop of the clip down. 65-67 harness clips were riveted to the FG.- Top
