          very late '67 - 21971...
          I know I've never changed them (pretty obvious, eh ?) and I've owned this car since 1998.

            Thanks for the pictures of what you know to be original screws. The verbiage in the TIM&JG is certainly ambiguous...integral collared washers??

              Not to confuse things, but I just checked an NOS GM door weatherstrip and it holds a magnet. So, there is a metal core encapsulated within the rubber. And the small bits of light colored areas in my previous photo of the hole in the weatherstrip are likely that internal metal showing thru a thin rubber skin. That metal would look like a metal washer if the rubber were scraped away. Regardless, I would not use the word washer when describing the screw themselves.
